Walk-in Contraceptive Services
Get all your contraceptive care in one place: the Kenner Army Health Clinic walk-in contraceptive clinic, located in Family Medicine.
All beneficiaries, regardless of gender identity, are eligible for care and counseling at walk-in contraceptive clinics and can receive education on safe sexual practices, contraceptives, and STI prevention and treatment.
The clinic is open Tuesdays, 7:30-11:30 a.m. and 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.

How it Works
After arriving at the Family Medicine Clinic, the patient will be checked in by MSA and given a questionnaire to complete. The patient will then be taken to an exam room, where a nurse will review the questionnaire to find out what form of contraception is wanted. The patient will then be seen by a provider for evaluation and either prescribed product or prepared for a procedure. If needed, the patient will go to the Kenner lab for a pregnancy test. Patients are seen on a first-come, first-served and waiting is to be expected if patient needs pregnancy testing
