KAHC COVID-19 Vaccination Drive Dec. 13-17

Kenner Army Health Clinic is hosting a COVID-19 Vaccination Drive for Kenner beneficiaries 18 and up, Dec. 13-17 in the 1st floor break room from 8 - 11 a.m. (This includes Active Duty Service Members, Active Duty Family Members, and Retirees)
 
The drive comprises of the First and Second, COVID-19 vaccines (Pfizer and Moderna) and the Booster shot who have completed their primary Pfizer and Moderna vaccine series at least 6 months ago or their Johnson & Johnson Janssen vaccine (1 shot) at least two months ago.

To make an appointment for vaccine, please contact the Kenner Army Health Clinic Appointment Line at 1-866-LEE-KAHC (533-5242), option 1 during the hours of 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
 
Please bring your CDC vaccination card and ID card with you.
 
Note:
  • The Occupational Health Clinic continues to administer vaccines to DA Civilians and Contractors every Friday from 1-3 p.m., by appointment only. For appointment, please call 804-734-9159.
  • Pediatrics offers vaccine for ages 5-17. (See flyers attached)
    • 5-11, COVID-19 vaccine is given by appointment only every Wednesday from 1-2 p.m.
    • 12-17, vaccine given every Friday from 1-3 p.m.
 
Criteria to be considered “fully vaccinated”
  • Be advised you are not considered fully vaccinated against COVID-19 until two weeks after your second dose in a 2-dose series, such as Pfizer or Moderna.
  • If you received Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine, you are considered fully vaccinated two weeks after a single dose.
  • If you don’t meet these requirements, regardless of your age, you are NOT fully vaccinated. Keep taking all precautions until you are fully vaccinated.
