Fort Gregg-Adams Veterinary Treatment Facility
The Fort Gregg-Adams Veterinary Treatment Facility is proud to provide veterinary services for our active duty, retired personnel, Reservists and National Guard, dependents, Medal of Honor recipients, 100% disabled veterans, former spouse, surviving spouse, and eligible child of all Armed Forces Branches.
The Fort Gregg-Adams VTF is not an emergency clinic; therefore, all critical and emergent cases will be referred off-post. Clients are also encouraged to have a relationship with a civilian veterinary clinic for continuity of care.
Services offered:
- Housing Memos for on-post housing
- Wellness Appointments: microchip implantation, vaccinations, infectious disease testing (heartworm disease, tick-borne diseases), internal and external parasite preventative medications, fecal testing, annual bloodwork and screenings
- Health Certificate Appointments (Domestic and International), including pre-screening appointments and diagnostics (rabies titer (FAVN) testing)
- Sick Call/ Re-Check Appointments:
- Partial in-house laboratory for routine bloodwork, urinalysis, and fecal testing
- Imaging capabilities: digital radiography, point of care ultrasound
- Cytology review of diagnostic samples
- Access to reference laboratories for a wide range of additional send-out diagnostic services
- In-house pharmacy
- Dental Services: oral assessment, routine dental cleaning (COHAT), extractions, dental radiography
- Surgical Services: routine sterilization (spay, neuter), mass removal, biopsies, wound repair and bandaging, and others at VCO discretion.
Clients and their pets please be at the clinic 15 minutes prior to appointment time to verify contact information and medical records. Clients that arrive after the start of their appointment time will be rescheduled.
